I’ve starting working on a review of the Sony FDR-AX1 video camera, with 4K resolution. Here’s some sample footage from my first shoot – the ferry ride over to Ward’s Island.
This video is 3840×2160 resolution – 4 times that of current HD (1920×1080). As I’m just starting the footage was mostly shot using auto exposure and focus. To fully appreciate the quality, you’ll need a 4K monitor – I can’t wait to get this to a 4K screen and see the full quality myself. Note that you may need to adjust youtube’s settings (under the video) to select the 2160 stream.
