In addition to my own interest, several viewers have asked about adapters to use older lenses on Sony e-mount cameras. I asked B&H if I could borrow a couple, and also asked Sony for their a-mount to e-mount adapter.
Here’s an introduction to adapters, how they work and how effective they are:

Behind the scenes
The scenes where I am on camera were shot with the Fuji X-T2 with the XF16-55 lens. The beauty shots and close-ups were recorded with the Sony A6300 with the 35mmF1.8 and the 30mmF3.5 macro lenses. Screens captured using an Atomos Shogun.
The scenes are edited, and may be slowed or speeded up, but not where the speed is material to understanding or appreciating the operation.
I use a Rodelink Filmmaker wireless kit for on camera audio, a Rode NT USB for narration.
I edit on a 5K iMac.
I do read and respond to all comments, which are moderated. If, either here or on YouTube, you leave a relevant and civil comment without links (which are filtered by YouTube) it will be posted.

In this case, I own the A6300 and the Canon lenses I used in the review.

I am currently shooting with the Fuji X-T2 thanks to an extended loan from Fujifilm Canada.
